A great report

so we are on school holidays for 5 weeks while the soccer world cup takes over South Africa! it is wonderful not to need to rush as much in the mornings to get to school in time, and sleep in a little longer especially in this freezing cold weather! But i reckon by next week Deqlan will be missing his beloved Little Leaps



Deqlan got a beautiful "report " for term 2. we are so grateful for the great leaps Deqlan is taking each day. There are lots of improvements from the first team report and definite new things deqlan can do! There are some that he doesnt like doing , but can do if he has to!!



When he was eating his rice last night he said ' MEATBALLS, RICE, CANDICE' i think he remembers Candice feeding him this meal at school! Deqlan is now a lot more confident at feeding himself , we dont have to keep reminding him as much, especially when its food he loves like chips or rice! he happily picks up the spoon and feeds himself!!! we are very chuffed at this, as we used to have to feed Deqlan , especially food thats not his favorite, to ensure he was eating! Go Deqlan!!!!

More on our fabulous Deqlan soon ! right now sleep time and hoping its a draw between mexico and france to help keep bafana dream alive!

please say an extra prayer for Deqlan tommorow morning as he goes for his 6 monthly ultrasound and blood and urine collection - we get results 2 July. Please pray for scan to continue being perfectly normal and blood and urine perfectly normal and for our Deqlan to remain NED always
