Guess who has been off the bottle for 4 whole days????? Deqlan has EVENTUALLY taken to a cup and straw bottle !!!!! I CANT TELL YOU HOW HAPPY I AM AND HOW PROUD I AM OF YOU MY BEAUTIFUL BOY!This was a challenging issue which we have tried many many times to solve with many many different types of bottles and cups - you name it we have tried it! Deqlan just loved the specific teat of his milk bottle , and the other big thing was it didnt mess when he lay down like the others do!!! It was definitely a comfort thing, like a soother or dummy - so to get rid of it , is A BIG DEAL!
We just decided to try again on Sunday , after he showed much interest in my McDonalds sprite , i even let him have a sip ( naughty mama) but for the sake of the excercise i let him taste it - so we pulled the straw cup out again, when we went to the Cobra car expo this weekend , and there you go - he started drinking from it! I was overjoyed and told everyone i could to look at this wonderful sight!! Mark told me not to over do it or else Deqlan would pick up on it and maybe not want it anymore!

We have had some issues with Deqlan asking for it, but he has been a super star and has eventually gotten over it and has stopped asking and looking for it!
So proud of him and hoping he will continue to enjoy his new big boy cup, i know his teeth are going to be a lot happier to!
We have been at home the past two days, Deqlan has a viral infection and has a dry cough, runny nose and temp to go along with it - hoping by tommorow he will be ok to go to school - half the school kids are at home this week, all sick!
Hoping to get more of a chance tommorow to update on Deqlans new love - AC COBRA!!!
