i know what you thinking - no shirt in the middle of winter? it was such a stunning day and Deqlan was kitted out in his all blacks top - and when we took his tops off to swap the long top for a t shirt, Deqlan thought that no clothes felt a whole lot better and just wouldnt put a top back on- EVENTUALLY got him to put a t shirt on - come on summer!!!!

Keaton and Abby sat so lovely together, they were so cute!

Deqlan was an absolute star at the dentist on Friday - so relaxed and chilled and trusting - he sat all by himself in the chair, opened his mouth for Nicky , let her put what she need to put on his teeth - an absolute star, he actually didnt want to leave, we had to coax him to come home to watch one of his current favorite shows, Kerwhizz!

Thankfully, Dr Nicky says that Deqlans teeth are still 'sealed' from his previous procedure in march, so no infection - she tried to put another sealer on to keep it from getting infected, and told us to come back each time it comes loose - but with Deqlan putting EVERYTHING into his mouth - its out already! We will check it out in October again, but thankfully for now, no need to panic, Deqlan still has his two front teeth.

We had a lovely time at Josh's 1st birthday party which had a Winnie the pooh theme of course! Deqlan was thrilled to spell and read Josh's name on the cake 'J-O-S-H. JOSH' He was very proud of himself. Deqlan loved the Happy Birthday song and did a dance of excitement to show it ! We had a few 'hairy' moments of unhappiness but Deqlan soon enjoyed himself especially since we brought his car magazines to flip through when he wanted to. He also loved playing with one of Darryls cousins, who was very entertaining!

When we left i was holding Josh and told Deqlan to say goodbye - he lovingly gave Josh his hand to kiss and said 'JOSH' was so lovely to see!

Deqlan is really understanding the 'W' questions so much more - i can ask' WHATS THAT' and he will continue to tell me instead of us just saying words, i can ask questions!

He continues to love you tube clips of numbers and the alphabet - its amazing how much he learns from them.

His teacher Ayeline, has taught him a few makaton signs, which is used to help kids on the spectrum communicate, especially those that are not verbal. Deqlan can say and use the signs for ' I WANT......PLEASE.THANK YOU' Every time he was milk or juice, this is exactly how he asks, puts his hands together at please and then opens them, with a great big THANK YOU!! So excited for family day on Saturday, Deqlan has already been giving us little tastes of the songs they will be singing!
