SUPRISE!!! Unfortunately my camera was not playing along on the inside areas, but this was the moment, megs walked through the doors to 70 plus singing Happy Birthday - she was SO Surprised and cried and cried!

Mom had this blessing ribbons created especially for Megs, each embroidered with a different blessing Mom wishes for her

Each table was named after a different precious stone or metal, with a treasure map showing Meggie as our treasure!

The stunning lanterns Mom created with a treasure box filled with treasure in each one, i think it really looked lovely!

The glass mom had specially engraved and then adorned with jewels for Megs - you can see in the glass to the right that each person got a bag of chocolate money to complete the treasure theme!

Our gift to Megs was a scrapbook filled with messages,memories and photos that i collected from all our family and friends!was so lovely to do and to read everyones favorite memories and stories of Megs!

SURPRISE!!! now i can divulge one of the reasons i was SO VERY BUSY the last month especially! Mom, Conrad and I have been arranging a surprise 30th birthday party for Megs! For months we have managed to keep it a surprise from her - we were delighted that she was genuinely surprised when arriving on Saturday to be greeted by more then 70 family and friends !

We had the party at the Royal Elephant hotel - which has a stunning Moroccan flavour down to the smallest details- it was really a stunning venue and the food, out of this world!

We used this as the start of our theme and we eventually had the them centred around Megs being our treasure . We really enjoyed every single minute of putting the ideas together and were delighted when realised on Saturday when all came together!

Even the kids were entertained in every possible way - jumping castle, wii, playstation, sweets! They loved it!

Thank you to you all for making it a wonderful day for Megs, thank you for all your help with the photos and messages for the slideshow and the book!

Unfortunately my camera didnt co operate so some of my photos blury, trusting Megs will put hers up on her blog soon for you to enjoy!

To Our Darling Sister, Aunt, Godmother and best friend Megs,

Congratulations on your 30th Birthday! We hope you had a beautiful day yesterday! Surprise!!!!!!!! Know that we have planned every single colour, every gem, every photo, with absolute love and with your enjoyment in mind.

What gift is just perfect for someone as special as you? I though the best thing i could give you was all the memories over the past 30 years from all your family and friends that love and adore you. I hope you enjoy reading through them and treasuring them as much i did putting this together for you.

It so clear, that you are loved and cherished and mean so much to so many people.
You are a real treasure Megs, a rare find, and those of us that are blessed to have you in our lives are all the richer for it! May the year ahead be fantastic and wonderful in every way! May Our Lord shower you with all His blessings and His treasures today and always.

Our weekend visit to Paris- we decided to go and visit the arc de troimph and on the way up your shoe broke! We were stuck and you had to wear your broken shoe the entire way up and down the arc de triumph and the rest of the day in Paris!

We survived hurricane Katrina together in Mauritius – we were petrified, but we got through it!

Looking for you at Hansel and Gretle, and lying next to you while you slept.

I remember the look on your face the very first time you saw Deqlan in the recovery room – your smile was as bright as i have ever seen it. I loved you bathing Deqlan and dressing him and coming to watch him everyday when i needed to have a shower! The bond you continue to share is a true joy to watch!

I remember the fights we used to have about clothes, and one going a little to far, where i kicked you through the window for waking me up to early! Sorry Megs!
