LET THE GAMES BEGIN

Its here, after couting down for 6 years, its finally here. We are beside ourselves with excitement and cant wait to see our Boys on the field . Good Luck Bafana , we are so proud, i have never been prouder to wear my Bafana jersey as i am today. We have the songs playing, we are in our kits, we waving our flags and praying for God to give you the greatest game of your lives!

The concert last night was breathtaking and when they sang WAVE YOUR FLAG - i was in tears of joy - Deqlan and Little Leaps sang this at his concert and have had loved this song ever since. It was breathtaking.

So very sad to hear that Madiba wont be making the opening ceremony, his great grand daughter was tragically killed in a car accident last night on her way home from the concert, how tragic.

We are watching the game at home, as Mr Deqlan has a runny nose and we dont want Khloe and Keaton to get sick again. I have just started recovering from another attack of sinusitis , so we all need to get well and stay well and not re infect each other! But we know that Deqlan will love seeing me and Mark get excited for each goal Bafana scores! We cant wait!

We are very excited to be meeting Erins family on Sunday! They are here for the world cup all the way from Texas in the USA!!!! Erin faught neuroblastoma for many years and absolutely loved soccer. She will be so in my thoughts this world cup, along with Angel Melina who also loved soccer
All our prayers to Connor who is having his 5th day of chemo today and will be watching the ceremony for hospital , lots of love and hugs and prayers to you and all the warriors around the world

Have a great world cup weekend everyone, thank You Lord for this day of unity - were we can all stand together and forget our differences and focus on this amazing event which makes us all part of the same family

God Bless lots of love and pics and stories to follow, from the worlds number 1 bafana fans
