Hello Friends, This is an urgent plea to vote in the Pepsi Refresh Challenge. Arms Wide Open Cancer Foundation was in 2nd place since Wednesday. 1st and 2nd place win a $250,000 grant from Pepsi!!! We were bumped into 3rd place by the USAction Education Fund. They propose to spend the money to educate people about the new insurance for young people 26 and under. It has no substance whatsoever, and is basically a scam, to get money for a political action group with its own agenda. Google it and see for yourself. Our children suffering from NB need this money desperately. September IS Childhood Cancer awareness month. I can't tell you how many children are needlessly suffering because the research money just isn't there. Parents whose kids are in treatment are holding bake sales, shaving their heads, organizing galas and golf tourneys to raise HOPE for their precious children. 250K is a lot of glasses of lemonade and every cent will go to research.
