Today is another day of thanks giving to our Mighty Lord and Gracious Healer Our Lord

Our beautiful boy today marks 3 years of you being NED,the first 3 of forever!

We continue to be on our knees in thanks,on our feet with Praise,singing songs of joy at how well you are doing,thriving and growing and blossoming in every area of your beautiful life.Our God is so great and He loves you more then you could ever know.He is with you every moment of every day helping you step on each stone as you strive for the stars precious Deqla ,as you love saying at the moment, "to infinity and beyond” and "reach for the stars" as your current best friend buzz lightyear has taught you to!

We continue to ask Our Mighty Lord to continue answering our prayers as we pray for them,for you to remain NED forever and always!for you to continue being happy and healthy and reaching your full potential.We ask Him to lead the way and give us the shoes for every path He sends us on.

We are so very proud of you and so very grateful for the gifts God continues to give us every day through you!what a gift and privilige every day is with you!

Thank You Lord for Deqlans prayer army who continue to follow our boys amazing journey of healing and miracles!Thank you that they continue to stand firm in faith with us agreeing on Deqlans healing,praying,supporting and celebrating with us!

We pray Lord that you heal all our friends around the world to especially those needing Your miracles right now Ylaria and Nick.

We Love you Deqlan to infinity and beyond we are honored to be your Dada and Mama we are honored to have you as our son and NED forever and always we trust and believe

The adventures of the Beard family

I wanted to share this very special photo of Megs and Me and our cousin Kejenne - i would have loved to include it in our Christmas post but only got it afterwards! Its just such a special photo, which i will treasure always

Kejenne is currently in France working on yachts and travelling the Med, exploring new adventures and avenues, she is just such an inspiration to me, and such a bubbly , happy, loving spirit, it was so refreshing to see her and she is amazing with our kids, they loved her so much and Keaton still asks for her!

Uncle Ken and Aunty Jenni arrived in a freezing cold Munich last week and are waiting for their furniture to arrive and our currently house hunting, for the place they will call hime for the next 4 years!

Jeran followed a few days later and is trying to sort his Swiss visa out - he will be going to Swiss Hotel School!!!! What a stunning oppurtunity!

The best news of all, is that they will all be within close travelling distance to each other , so can get to see each other often!

Missing you all, wishing you all the very very best in all your new adventures, cant wait to hear and see all abou them!

God keep you safe on your travels and bring you back to us in South Africa one day!!

Back to school!

Deqlan was delighted to go back to school this morning! He had a huge smile as we walked through the gates of Little Leaps and he spotted Ash and Ayline waiting to open the gate for us. He couldnt get through the gate fast enough! He immediately did a run around, checking everything out , he was obviously thrilled to be back! Its so lovely to see the girls again and all the kids, we really missed them! Hahli even came to give me a hug and Vincent and Pieter took turns holding Marks hand, bless them!!! Missing Deqlan today SOOOO much, the house is so quiet, but i quickly find myself smiling when i think what he must be getting up to at school and how much fun he is having, cant wait to fetch him and so how his day was! Thank You Lord for another gift of Deqlans second year at school, Thank You with our all!

Thank you to all of you who sent us messages wishing our beautiful boy the best for today, he sends you all hugs and kisses!

So off we went to Dr Anne yesterday who coudlnt see the immediate cause for the chronic sinusitis so sent us off for an x ray.we waited half an hour.which Deqlan did so well in,but I made the mistake of flushing the toilet when I took Deqlan to the bathroom,instead of him doing it!this upset him so much but we still managed to get the sinus x rays Dr had ordered.While we were waiting for the x ray Deqlan continued to page through the magazines in the waiting room and became very close to a Top Billing magazine.When it was time to leave it was also time to put the magazine back, which he did,but then proceeded to have a meltdown.

Nanna and I went on the search to the hospital cafe then to Spar in search of his own copy but this process just seemed to escalate Deqlans frustration.we then took him into the toy shop for some distraction but he wasn't happy ther either.eventually he decided he wanted to go back to Spar and after paging through several magazines he chose the Top billing one! This is definitely a very independant phase that he needs to be in control of everything

Of course he wasn't happy going back to Dr Anne to get the results but we managed to egt through them. Thankfully nothing showed up on x ray so Dr Anne thinks its allergies. We have been on different meds for allergies last year but of course our boy reacted to them. She has given us a tablet version this time which I want to do some more research on before giving!


Hopefully his immune system will still hold its own especially going back to school tommorow!
